Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Latest Recruitment 2013 Assistant/ Office Attendant Vacancies


Applications for Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recruitment 2013 for Assistant/ Office Attendant for meritorious sportspersons are invited vide Advertisement No.1/2013. Read on to know eligibility and other details to apply for the same

RBI Assistant/ Office Attendant vacancies: A total of 50 vacancies available for RBI Assistant / Office Attendant vacancies for Sportspersons in the following mentioned sports disciplines.

Cricket (Men) - 18 vacancies
Football (Men) - 9 vacancies
Badminton (Men) - 8 vacancies
Carrom (Men) - 1 vacancy
Carrom (Women) - 2 vacancies
Table Tennis (Men) - 8 vacancies
Table Tennis (Women) - 4 vacancies

Age eligibility: The age limit for RBI Assistant/Office Attendant should be between 18 and 26 years as on 01.03.2013. However the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

Pay scale: The salary for RBI Assistant jobs is 8860 in the scale of 8040-20100 along with other admissible allowances and the salary for RBI Office Attendant jobs is 6350 in the scale of 6350-13750 along with other admissible allowances.

Educational qualification: Candidates should have acquired the below said education as on 01.03.2013.
For Assistant vacancies in RBI the candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in any discipline which should be from the University within the recruitment zone.

For the post of Office Attendant the candidates should have passed Class X from the Board within the recruitment zone of the concerned office to which they are applying.

Sports Qualification: The candidates should have represented A State or the Country in the National or International competition (or) they should have represented at District in State level competition (or) should have represented their University in Inter University Tournaments (or) represented State Schools Team in the National Sports/ Games for SChools conducted by All India Schools Game Federation. The candidate should be fit enough and must be an active sportsperson at the time of appointment.

Fees: The application fees of 100 should be paid by the way of account payee DD drawn in favour of "Reserve Bank of India" payable at respective Centre where the application is submitted. SC/ST candidates are exempted from fee payment.

How to apply: Applications for RBI Assistant/ Office Attendant for Sportsperson should be typewritten on plain A4 size paper which should have your complete bio-data mentioning all your qualifications and affix your latest passport size photograph on the right hand top corner. Attach xerox copies of relevant certificates. The applications along with relevant certificates and DD should be sent by the way of ordinary post to the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Recruitment Selection at respective centre where the application is submitted
