Western Railway 2013 Latest Job Notification for 560 Group D posts against Ex-servicemen Quota

Western Railway has published recruitment notification for various Group "D" vacancy vide Employment Notice.No.1/ 2013/(Ex-Service Man)

Western Railway Group D number of posts per cast categories : There are a total of 560 vacancies for various Group "D" posts in Western Railway as listed below:

• Trackman - 147 vacancies.
• Helper Khalasi (Engg/Mech/Elect/S&T) - 241 vacancies.
• Helper/Stores - 7 vacancies.
• Platform Porter - 60 vacancies.
• Safaiwal/Comml, Mech, Medical - 83 vacancies.
• Safaiwala/Geberal Adminstration, Accounts - 8 vacancies.
• Waiter and Cleaner, commercial Catering - 14 vacancies.

Age Limit : Applicant's age should be in range of 18 years to 33 years only. However, age relaxation as per all reservation categories is applicable as per the government rules.

Pay scale : Pay scale for Western Railway Group "D" posts is in pay Band-1 of Rs.
5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- (for all Group 'D' posts).


Application fees : No application fees is applicable for ex-servicemen quota applicants.

Eligible candidates should submit the job application in the prescribed format along with self attested copies of all educational documents, experience letter, cast certificate and other documents mentioned in the recruitment notification. 

Candidate should write the post applied for in capital letters on the envelope in the format "APPLICATION AGAINST 20% Ex Service Man QUOTA VIDE E.N.NO.1/2013 DATED 11-06-2013".
