Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is inviting online application from Indian citizens to fill up 20000 Posts of Constable as details mentioned below.
Name and number of posts: Constable - 20000 Posts (Gen-10000, OBC-5400, ST-400,SC-4200)
Pay scale: Rs.5, 200 – 20, 200 + Grade Pay2,000
Age limit: 18 years -22 years as on 01 July 2013
Educational Qualification: To apply for UP Police Recruitment 2013 Constable Vacancies Candidate must have passed 12th class or Equivalent from any recognized board or Institution.
Physical standards:
For Male: Height: 168 cms for general and OBC candidates and 160 cms for SC/ST candidates
For female: Height: 152 cms for general and OBC candidates and 147 cms for SC/ST candidates
Online application procedure for UPPRPB Recruitment 2013 Constable Vacancies Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (PRPB) from 18 July 2013 to 18 August 2013
Application fee: 200 can be paid through E-challan available at UPPRPB website. Candidates can submit the printed copy of fee payment challan and submit it to either State Bank of India (SBI) or Punjab National Bank (PNB) to deposit the fees.

Selection will be made on the basis of the performance in the written exam, Physical, Fitness Test & Interview as mentioned below.
UPPRPB Recruitment 2013 for Constable Vacancies entrance exam pattern:
Preliminary Written test will consist of Objective type questions of 300 marks as mentioned below.
• General Knowledge- 150 marks
• Reasoning- 75 marks
• Numeric ability- 75 marks
UPPRPB Recruitment 2013 for Constable Vacancies physical test pattern
• For male candidates: Race of 4.8 kms should be completed in 30 minutes
• For Female candidates: Race of 2.4 kms should be completed in 18 minutes
Main Written test will consist of Objective type questions of 300 marks as mentioned below.

• Mental Ability- 75 marks
• Reasoning- 75 marks
• Bodgmayta - 75 marks
